Hi, if you use Boston Lens Wetting/Soaking or Cleaner solutions buy them from your local Costco (if you're a member).
They cost just £4 each (inc VAT) opposed to the £7-ish you'll pay on the High St.

What next for me?
Hi all, I've been diagnosed with KC in both eyes for the last 22 years, I'm 40 now and have been wearing Rose-K hard lenses for most of that time. At one time my vision was pretty excellent with the lenses but over the last 5 years or so, the vision in my right eye has gone downhill to the point tha...

Sorry guys, i've been away for a week or so and just catching upon the posts. Denis, thanks for the info. Re: C3-R for KC
Thanks for the info Denis, that was really useful to know. I'm finding the vision in my left eye has gone worse and I'm wearing Rose-K lenses which are comfortable enough but not giving me the vision. I didn't know about the 3-4 weeks out of work. If you dont mind me asking, who did you have the pro...

C3-R for KC
I just got back from a holiday in India (punjab). I was diagnosed with KC about 20 years ago and a relative over there suggested I visit the Akal Eye Hospital in Jallandar to see what could be done as the vision in my left eye is getting worse and lenses are not helping much. After various tests and...

Re: Sight not great anymore
Actually .. let me jump in here guys... They are talking about an op at the BACK of the eye so there may be more here than just KC. You have to remember that having KC does not automatically make you immune from other eye problems... So gurdevb - what exactly did they say was wrong at the back of t...

Re: Sight not great anymore
Thanks for the reply guys.
The lenses I have are Rose K2 (?). Are there lenses now that surpass these types on the NHS and do you think it may be advisable to visit a specialist optom instead of the hospital now?

Sight not great anymore
Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum and have had KC since I was 19. Had it first in my left eye and gradually developed in my right. I have been wearing Gas permeable lenses ever since and am used to them; the odd irritation but very minor. I've noticed now that my sight is not as good as it used to be i...
