For those of you who did not spot Anne’s post in the main discussion forum the next EMG meeting will be held on Saturday 5th November 2011 at 10.30am. The venue as usual is the Vista Resource Centre on Gedding Road (off Gwendolin Road), Leicester LE5 5DU.

Thanks very much to Ali for taking the time to see us yesterday. I am sure I speak for everyone in attendance by saying that it was an informative talk.

It was also good to see a few new faces as well and I appreciate that some of you had long journeys as well.

When is the next East Midlands meeting planned?

I know this reply has been a long time coming, Grant, but the next meeting is on Saturday 27th September at 10.30 am. The speaker will be Mary Bairstow, optometrist and low vision specialist, talking about 'Access to Low Vision Services - is there a need for a change of focus for people with keratoconus'. The meeting will be held in Vista Shop, 21 Hotel Street, Leicester, LE1 5AW
Please note this is not the venue we've used in the past for East Mids meetings, but is much more central so we hope will be easier for members to get to.
