Our Autumn 2026 Newsletter is Here!

The latest edition of the Keratoconus Group newsletter is now available, bringing together news, research, upcoming events and stories from across our community.

Our Autumn 2026 newsletter is being sent to members by post and email, and you can also read the full digital edition below.

Inside this issue

We take an in-depth look at Dr Waheeda Illahi’s recent talk on keratoconus and other health conditions, exploring findings from her patient-centred research and topics including mental health, eye rubbing, cross-linking, contact lenses, work and everyday life.

You’ll also find details of our upcoming London Speaker Meeting with Dan Ehrlich, former Head of Optometry at Moorfields, as well as information about our upcoming Drop-In Zoom meetings.

We celebrate some fantastic fundraising efforts too, including Tosin Adebanjo’s incredible London Marathon achievement, where he raised £1,200 for the Keratoconus Group, and look ahead to Johnny Sloss and Carolyn Southall taking on upcoming AJ Bell events in support of our work.

Elsewhere in this edition, we share the latest research news on a landmark eye-imaging dataset that could help accelerate research into keratoconus and other anterior segment eye conditions, and look back at our recent time at Sight Village and our growing West Midlands face-to-face meet-ups at Aston University.

We also say a heartfelt thank you to our retiring Chairman, Steve Graham, and introduce more ways to connect with the Keratoconus Group, including our WhatsApp Community.
