Our AGM and guest speaker meeting is at the Moorfields Education Hub, Ist Floor, 15 Ebenezer Street (the hub is opposite Moorfields main hospital – cross City Road and go up Provost Street to the next corner and the Hub is facing you on the left).
Our guest speaker will be Dr Waheeda Illahi, Head of Optometry at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre giving the talk that had to be postponed from our October 2025 meeting. The title of her talk is ‘Keratoconus and other health conditions: any cause for concern?’ This is a highly important survey carried out by the BMEC optometry team with 500 keratoconus patients, which should lead to significant improvements in KC hospital care.
