Saturday 3rd October at 11am
Our Autumn speaker meeting is at the Moorfields Education Hub, Ist Floor, 15 Ebenezer Street, N1 7NP (the hub is opposite Moorfields main hospital – cross City Road and go up Provost Street to the next corner and the Hub is facing you on the left).
Our guest speaker will be Dan Ehrlich, former Head of Optometry at Moorfields, will talk about his continuing work on improving design and availability of specialist contact lenses.
Back in 2020 Dan Ehrlich and his team embarked on a project harnessing advanced imaging technology and clinical data to improve the fitting of contact lenses for patients with keratoconus. You can read about it here.
We were very fortunate to learn how the project was progression in 2023 when Emma McVeigh gave a talk at our AGM. Much of what she said at the time was confidential so it could not be recorded.
We are pleased that Dan will be presenting the results at our autumn meeting. Again, this will not be recorded so if you want to be up-to-date then you need to be there.
All are welcome, both people with KC and family members. As usual, there will be a buffet lunch and an opportunity to meet others with KC. Do let us know if you are coming by e-mailing anne@kcgroup.org.uk or ringing her on 020 8993 4759 so we can cater for numbers.
